    Vintage Equestrian Hunt Plate # 2, Heinrich & Co., Selb, Bavaria
    Pausing for a moment, the rider places his hand on his fine gray dappled horse in the hand painted hunt scene featured on this plate. The colors are crisp , and the artist captures the bond between horse and rider. A narrow gilded band frames the scene and a wider gilt band encircles the plate. The maker's mark is on the reverse-a crown with "H & Co Selb Bavaria" and also "Heinrich & Co". In addition, there is "Originally painted by C. Diebitsch"; there is "CD" on the front of the plate. This piece was probably never used, as it was for display. It is in remarkable condition-no chips, repairs, hairlines or crazing. The plate is 6.5 inches in diameter. We will gladly combine postage on multiple purchases.
