Square D Advertising Item With New York Subway Map, 1989

This is an interesting advertising item from 1989 or thereabouts. Square D was introducing a new under-floor power-cable routing system called “The Subway” and advertised it with this handout, which includes an attached 1989 New York City subway map (“effective August 31, 1989”) to make their point about how many “stops” (connections) were possible using their system. Apparently the system sold for a couple decades but is now no longer sold, although if you look up “Square D Subway” on eBay there are parts still being sold, so the installed base is out there still creating some demand for parts. It’s 8 inches square when folded, and the subway map is still attached to the backing paper. Not in perfect condition, but reasonable; see pictures.
