    Description

    I will ship your order with one day handling, but I have to extend the handling time to 15 days, because of the global pandemic situation. Due to the new virus situation we are experiencing very large delays in international shipping transfer and deliveries. Delays are caused due to the scarcity of international commercial flights and due to the low volume of postal handling in destination countries. So, everything is very very slow.     You're looking at a MEXICO 925 STERLING SILVER ELEPHANT SHAPED DECORATIVE BOX SIGNED SYJUV MS-88. The box is in good condition with some signs of wear as scratches, tarnish, some stains and some wear around its edges. The elephant has the trunk up, which means good luck. The lid with the shaped elephant fits into the base. The lid has some tarnished areas and stains especially at its inner side where you can see some stains and tarnish; it also has some wear around its edges, with some tiny dents and bended areas. The base box has some stains at its inner edge and some scratches and tarnish. It comes marked with the words SYJUV Sterling 925 MS-88, that belongs to Juventino López Manrique and his wife Sylvia, he is the son of Juventino López Reyes who used to work with Maciel, until he opened his own workshop "Platería del Recreo", and with a turtle with the name Dora "B" inside it. It measure height 7/8" approx. x long 3 1/2" approx. x 2 1/2" approx. tall (at the elephant´s lid part) and it weights 119 grams approx. I found it at an Estate Sale.
