The result is impressive gains in torque and horsepower while maintaining a high degree of safety. The Accessport comes with pre-installed maps that are optimized for common performance modifications. And new maps can be downloaded by flashing with computer.
The Cobb AccessPort is a hand-held device that easily reflashes your BMW ECU through the car's own OBD-II diagnostic port. There are no permanent wires to attach, and no physical modifications to the car. The AccessPort comes with MULTIPLE maps, and more can be added in the future. Eventually a tuner like Mach V Motorpsorts will be able to do custom tuning on your car to further customize the tuning. The reprogramming is easily reversible, too.
