    Description

    You are bidding on FACSIMILE-REPRODUCTION HARDBOUND edition (11" x 13-1/2") of Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata, Op 27 No 2. Edited by Heinrich Schenker ((1868-1935) in German text and published by Universal Edition  in 1921 with publication number 7000. It is the first volume, Band 1 in a series edited by Otto Erich Deutsch.
    "A special edition of 50 numbered copies in half-binding has been published printed on handmade paper, No 6," is printed in German opposite title page.
    The corners are all leather with light wear and there is a "bump" at bottom of front spine; the front and back covers have 1-1/2" leather strip from top to bottom near spine.
    The spine evidences fading.
    I have included English translation from German text from English edition of Facsimile which has been sold.
    The left inside cover has some numbers penciled in which can be erased.
