To awaken the feeling of beauty, to develop not idle curiosity, but interest in the art of ballet, the desire for knowledge of its aesthetic values, respect for the work of its creators, the moral duty of the elders in front of the young. The oldest ballet master K. Goleizovsky, ballet dancer and classical dance teacher O. Lepeshinskaya, choreographers of the younger generation N. Kasatkin and V. Vasilev took part in the book and supplemented essays by E. Bocharnikova with stories about the specifics of their profession. The book is beautifully illustrated.
