Description

1898 German
newspaper
print circular from F.W. Vossen & Soehne (Sons), who were book sellers in Wald-Solingen, Germany.  This illustrated circular advertised some of their wares (e.g. postcards and related materials), and it includes an order form as well.   With a hand stamp dated November 1, 1898, it proffers some materials that were reflective of the times, including medals and death notices for Otto von Bismarck (the "Iron Chancellor").  It is a very interesting historical piece.  However, please note that it is in good but very fragile condition, with some separation along its folds.  I will let the photos speak for themselves, as I do not wish to handle it further.
It is a Very Fine piece ready to enhance any collection of German history or commercial advertising.
Another Extremely Fine Piece of Postal History!
